Children's Books

It's never too early to start reading to your child. It's their readiness and not their age that decides what books they might enjoy at a given age. That holds true for all ages. Sometimes I'm in the mood for historical fiction, sometimes it's mystery, and other times nonfiction. These are some recommendations by age group, but every child is different. These are some of the favorites we have enjoyed together since my kids were babies. I can't possibly list them all as there are so many good books. When kids are in kindergarten and first grade, they start developing an interest in specific kinds of books/series. Then we can follow their lead on books. Public libraries are such great resources as you can check out as many as you want (or as many as you can remember to return 😉)
